Also, there is no such thing as going all out and doing this a thousand times over a week and making it STICK. Our brains simply do not work like this. Whether you work at a fast food joint or a huge marketing company, your work place is probably decorated with 'daily education material', reminding you EVERY DAY how the people of the company should conduct themselves.
Any daily routine that is not natural to you must be practiced over and over again for you to rewire your habitual mental patterns.
I didn't proof read as well as I thought I did, my mistake. 10+ slaps over a a good amount of time. Not one day.
And yes, you're right our brains don't work like that but this is something I've done to help get over the fear of rejection. Just like how game is practiced by actually going out and doing it, this works the same way. I periodically do this because yeah, that fear comes back. I just recently got out of a long relationship and I actually intend to do this again considering I've been slacking.
This can be done say every few months. It's fun, and it helps.
