Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and really the whole ideals and philosophies of pickup-artist, and have come to terms with the fact that I SUCK at picking up women

anyway here is my situation/question

I met this girl where I work, which itself does not present a problem because we are both young and not "professionals" where we work (i.e. summer help). But we talked every time we saw each other and she really seemed interested, which I was mildly in her. the talking/lite flirting continued and I met this other guy who goes to school with her and knows her. Upon telling her that he met me she messaged me on facebook and we ended up swithing numbers and she invited me to a party, which was a couple of weeks away. During that time we texted everyday with flirty little messages about school and such. When I attended the party she was so drunk that she could barely stand and pretty much blew me off the whole time (maybe playing hard to get? idk). and now she hardly responds to texts and yadda yadda yadda, same old story.

any ideas? what I did wrong? what I could have done better? I don't really feel like I was too needy or anything, quite the contrary perhaps

Everything seemed to go fine until the party. Maybe you did something she didn't like about you and called it off. There are a lot of those situations where a girl likes a guy until she founds out something about him she doesn't like. However I may be wrong.

You should give more details about the party. You can't just say she was drunk and just blowing you off. Needs more detail.

Thats what I thought too but I can't imagine what. What actually happened at the party was pretty uneventful I thought: I arrive, seek her out, she drunkenly hugs me and tells me to "go find your friend, i'll find you in a little while" (it was a pretty big party btw). I do just that and end up just hanging out with him the whole time, she would stumble around every so often but would see someone she knew and take off before I could really get any words in. I end up leaving once everyone I knew passes out or leaves and have no idea where she went. a couple of days later she text and asked "where I went". it was pretty much over from there.
