Hi, I'm a rAFC with a twist. I just broke up with my last girlfriend a few months ago and I am now looking for a new girlfriend. I am a Christian and am not looking for sex, I am looking for a long term relationship. I would like to speed up the process of meeting someone. I do not have very strong approach anxiety, I have very strong close anxiety and lack the ability to transition from indirect openers to actual conversations that build attraction. My question is, is it better to become a pick-up artist and go after every girl you see on the street, or just let it happen naturally like it usually does eventually. I can see the appeal if your looking for casual sex every night, but I'm wondering do you usually get quality women out of this? Is it worth the effort? I'm in college and I feel like I'm resorting to PUA because I seem to have run out of people in my social circles. I'm trying to expand but having a hard time picking between women as far as who to pursue, and only getting to see certain women once a week or so doesn't help. I am a MUCH better PUA at parties.

If you are in collee and on campus, read "Conquer your campus", don't try cold approaches.

If you aren't, learn pua because it will help you in more aspects than just "fucking women". It's a life skill.

It is natural if you believe it to be. What you are saying is completely irrelevant to the question. Being good at PUA doesn't mean you are "unnatural". Being good at PUA only means that you have more skills in your arsenal when talking with women. Or you can do your other option which is "let it happen naturally" which might not be this week, month, or even this year. I know you are a Christan, and so am I. Please stop believing the whole "your one and only will come to you" and praying to god that it magically stops in your doorstep. Take action and go out in meeting women.

If I rephrase your question, it says "is it better to become a pick-up artist and weed out all of my dates to find a real quality women, or do nothing about it and sit on my ass all day?"

any game or pick up skills I get as a result of that is just a perk..

If your learning social dynamics, you will have a way better chance of meeting and holding the interest of a girl who may want a long term relationship.

the only thing is you may have to make some adjustments to your own skill set, and your field will have to be Target Rich of the Specific target your looking for... (ie. church gatherings that kind of thing)

cuz otherwise your "game" might not do the trick, cuz most girls in the general population need the escalation and sex to occur if not they'll get bored of your PUA material and move on to someone more adventurous.
