| “Let us not forget that the greatest composers were also the greatest thieves. They stole from everyone and everywhere.” -Pablo Casals
This quote applies to anyone and everyone who is great at what they do because they learned to be great, from the great, through PRACTICE.
Remember, NO human is born a master at any subject. Instead, we come as uneducated, inexperienced, and very curious infants, and through experiencing life by being influenced by everyone and everything around us, we develop our own perception of what’s important in life as well as what we can, can’t, and shouldn’t do, given our “assumed” resources and abilities, we limit ourselves without even knowing it as we "distort" our perception.
If we allow ourselves to completely admit that we know absolutely nothing about a particular subject and go back into infant mode and relearn how we should; think, feel, and act so that we could do it the right way without any interference from our current way of thinking, we can be as efficient as anyone else in any subject as we ALL have a brain that we can program and format with the appropriate management. Remember, you didn’t act the way you do now when you were 2 months old, as your brain was still fresh so that you could observe more developed behavior through other human beings and learn and through years of practice you EVOLVED into your “now” self and may need to clean up some clutter on your hard drive, delete some irrelevant files, fine-tune some things, or may need a complete re-format and just start all over. You now have access to all the resources you need to accurately learn and master anything that you weren’t able to do when growing up . If we did have access to what we have now then infants would have the capacity to report the nightly news as they would have immediate understanding and/or the ability to obtain the information which would allow them to do so, and I have yet to see a toddler on television recommending whether or not I should wear a rain coat the following day.
All that you need to do now, is decide what about yourself you’d like to develop and to what degree.
