You don't talk about a 5-some and stalking a girl when it is your first time texting her. Second, You don't talk about 5-dollar glasses and then expect to get her name. What the fuck, she doesn't want a cheap-ass loser!
I have experience with this stuff. I met a girl on Facebook, got her number, texted her for 2 days, then sucked on her tits the first day I met her. During the time we talked, we BARELY talked about anything sexual. I think the only thing I said was that I was lying in bed in my underwear lol. She's not a whore or anything, and I'm going for the LTR.
So next time, be playful and stuff but don't take it sexual that early. And if you do, don't go too sexual (LIKE A 5-SOME!!!). It would be funny if you had known her for a little bit, but it came off as really weird to her. And it's obvious that she doesn't want to take it any farther because she didn't give you her name.
If you can find a way to recover from this and get her back, you can try it, but in my opinion, it is hopeless.

OK, I'm pretty new to this text game thing, but I thought the 5-some thing was really good. At least it would have been if spoken in a joking manner IRL. It's really not sexual, the way that it makes totally clear that he's just joking the other 3 guys off.

However, the stalking thing sure did sound weirdo to me, and I didn't like it at all. I think OP blew it there, after being quite well of to start with.

well when i met this girl i did it in a joking manner. like i was just cracking jokes the whole time. like when i went to # close she said i have a boyfriend. then i said "im sorry i didn't get that you said your number was 909...?" she started laughing and then said ur pretty funny then she gave it to me.

The 5-Some joke was not the bad part. It was OK, she obviously took it as a joke.
This is where you fucked up though:

No... no... no.

Even though you were joking - this is not funny. Joking to a girl that you're gonna stalk her is only funny if you know her well enough and she's comfortable around you.

But this isn't the biggest problem EITHER.

The worst thing you did here was this:

- You made a joke about stalking her
- Right after the joke, you asked for her name

This made the whole thing awkward. You "joke" about stalking her and then all of a sudden ask for her name.

Joke or no joke - it's still creepy. Don't do that.

In the future, if you must make "stalker" or any other weird jokes....... reverse the roles! Make it seem as if SHE'S stalking YOU.

"Find someone else to stalk!"
"Get the cameras away from my bathroom, you perv!"
"I don't tolerate when someone stalks me, missy."
"Get your own life - this one's mine!"

...And so on.

Obviously, you gotta joke about this when the time is right and the situation fits. Don't just say it out randomly.

Adda boy! that was much better. I would have strayed away from the stalking thing again (even though you teased HER about it), but it seems like it turned out well anyways.

She was definitely giving you IOIs, no doubt about it.

As for the boyfriend thing, it looked like it totally changed your whole attitude. You can't let it do that. You need to keep going without sounding different. People that text a lot can actually tell if something's wrong. So you should have kept going.

I know that my ex had a boyfriend when I started texting her. I definitely helped her to break up with him. She would always complain to me about him n shit, so I just told her to get a better guy and all that. It worked pretty well. And with all the IOIs, she seems like she won't be very loyal to her boyfriend. But it's only flirting............ so far
