If a girl asks me what I do I say i'm a professional pickup artist, they normally just laugh and dont believe me, so yeh, i tell them.
If they find out later that I was telling the truth, it's normally too late and i've moved on.

No, never definitively as a "Pick Up Artist". However, I have previously had a girl once know the game I was asking her to play. Everything was going swell until that point lol.

As for if they do spot it, revamp your set or your behaviour with women. Like Fussbird said, the PUA shows the higher value and makes her do the chasing so really a girl should never figure out anything.

It usually doesn't matter for me (maybe cause I don't use routines), but if
a girls/girls accuse me as a PUA/player/whatever I just say:
- It's not that easy, you know. Let me see if you can do it!
Than I tell them to try to open me, while I pretend to just walk around the place.
(well, not like far away, something around a few meters) And it's cool, cause it switches the roles and takes down the shit test as well.

Whenever a girl says something to me like "is that your chat-up line or something?" i just admit it and go over the top with it, so a response i've used before was "hell yeah it is! it always works, you should try it sometime!" turned back to my mate, 2 minutes later she comes back to me to restart the interaction.
Besides it's a huge DHV if you explain it properly. Like if you explain basic fundamentals of opening for instance (which I've done before) they go all starry eyed agreeing with everything you say, because you are showing that you "get it" but don't spoil them with your knowledge. Usually if I get into explaining how attraction works I won't over do it, just explain a little bit about opening or whatever then cut the thread and start a new one. The great thing is that when doing this you are building attraction and a little comfort aswell.
