If you're TRYING to be alpha while you are WORRIED about people labeling you as someone with a Napoleon Complex, then you actually do have a Napoleon Complex.
Real alphas don't care if people label them. They live through their own identity.
Actually . . . in reality, ALPHA only exists due to the fact that betas THINK of them as alphas. Without betas placing an individual on a pedestal and identifying him/her as alpha, there would be no order. Thus, there is no such thing as alphas living through their own identity. An alpha that lives through their own identity not only ceases to be alpha but ceases to have any identity in a social context.
In fact, throughout history, the only thing that most alphas ever did was "care about how people label them". As an alpha, this was their only job. Think of kings and emperors. . . think of modern day presidents and CEO's of large corporations. Real alphas in fact care ONLY about how they are labeled because they are top feeders. They don't have to work, they don't have to fight (fear of losing prevents most challenges). All they do all day long is get feed back from betas regarding how omegas "think of them".
Sure, it's been "cool" for alphas to market that "I don't give an F about you peasants" for thousands of years and "I really take care of a lot of shit," but it's really just part of clever marketing package.
Also, worrying about how people might think of them has little to do with the Napoleon Complex. Napoleon didn't give a FUCK about what the hell anybody ever thought of him so he didn't listen to any aristocrats telling him to do this or that. He was just an aggressive control freak dictator. His way or the high way. Typically, the stereotyped people who are inflicted with Napoleon complex would be: crazy ass army drill sergeants, those mean ass cops, and maybe now days, scrawny ass divorce lawyers? . . . etc . . .
To the OP, this is a "pick up" forum so most of the advice you get here will be framed within the rules of "pick up". Inner game, outer game, DHV, etc . . .
You're in college, take advantage of your situation and take a class in management and leadership. Social psychology would also be fun. Learn how others have managed social groups for their benefit and earned the love of their betas and omegas at the same time. This isn't some hocus pocus "charisma" lecturing stuff but rather tangible, executable, and repeatable, techniques that alphas have been doing for a long time.
