Anyone here dated a girl with a mood disorder?

Are there are any positives, or things that make it worthwhile, or is her unhappiness just bound to make you unhappy?

Problem is, I have a mood disorder also, so it's easy to get caught in codependence.

Just go find a woman with two feet. I haven't dated a girl with a "diagnosed" mental, because i simple just wouldn't. We don't have to settle for less than what we feel we deserve.

It's actually kind of sexy if she's doing things to fight it.

I've known girls who were wrecks but did nothing to acknowledge they had a problem or that they needed to make a change in their life. Theses aren't the type I'm talking about. I still encounter these types of women and generally avoid them.

I'm talking about a woman who knows she has a mood disorder, listens to her doctor, takes her meds, avoids alcohol, is comfortable talking about it, works hard at a job and also does well in school, and is working hard to make her way in life, is creative and artistic, but still struggles and acts a little weird sometimes.

The thing is, it this kind of mirrors my situation. I empathize with it.

Well then why the hell are you asking us? If I found something extremely sexy I wouldn't go ask a forum of strangers. I'd go after what I thought was sexy.
