Ran into this cute chick online and started talking to her. It was a plain platonic encounter since we're both studying for the MCAT. I teased, pushed and pull, flirted with her just like what I usually do with other girls. I talked to her like once or twice a week as she lives 4 hours away. She keeps asking me if I've met anyone during the time gaps, she keeps saying if only I live in the same town, etc.. and a bunch of other IOIs. I set a date with her this next weekend since I'll be in town for my friend's birthday. She was very eager every time I mentioned meeting up. So far so good.

Only one weird thing is that she often rants about how guys just want her for sex and this guy she likes that is being a jerk to her. I usually just ignored it and reframe the conversation back to something fun and flirty instead of consoling or qualifying to her. But I wonder what is the deal with it? I've ran into some chicks like that in the past too.

Thanks. Some update: I talked to her again today and she mentioned him again and that they're kinda in a FWB sort of thing despite saying all the stuffs like "I can't wait to see you this weekend" or "i wish you live here so we can see each other everyday" etc... But I know better to judge by her actions not by her words. I just ignored it and haven't texted her back since I told her I was on my way to the gym. We'll see what will happen in the weekend.
