A few years ago I moved away from my hometown but I come back every year for a few months. Last time I was here I met this girl at the place I worked at and we became pretty friendly but never hooked up. After that it seemed like we would hook up next time I'm back in my hometown and have been speaking relatively often. I just got back and told her I'm back and she was basically begging me to come over and sleep over her house cause her parents are gone for the weekend. At first I had plans then the plans fell through for the weekend so I said I'd be able to come to her place. She told me to bring alcohol and it'd be better if I came over at night, at which point I said what time and what alcohol. After that she didnt reply and I also texted her Friday at noon time saying let me know when To head over. She didn't reply to either. I'll post the facebook Convo later on tonight but from this info anyone have any ideas where this went wrong?

Regardless, from what I can make out there is a chance that she actually has just been busy/has an excuse to not message back etc. There is also a chance that because you had a change of plans that she possibly felt as if she was less important and had a change of heart (even though she mentioned the alcohol and shit), or that she felt you were coming on too strong.

My advice would be to play it cool. You don't NEED to hang out with this girl, which is why you should act in a similar fashion. If you don't get to hang out over the weekend or whatever, then just try to roll with it. If she does text back after there your planned time to hang out, again, act cool and make sure she knows that you don't care and that there will be another time.

With this being said, I genuinely hope this is not a situation where you are are being used to get her alcohol because for some reason she cannot buy it herself. That would blow. Which is another reason you should build up rapport, and more specifically sexual tension. If she is really into everything you are talking about, then you shouldn't have a problem F-Closing/dating/whatever you had in mind.

If she does completely flake, search the fourm for what to do in that situation. Something that comes to mind would be list-of-text-messages-game-vt21175.html Which could be applied to your texting/facebook messaging game and includes a couple "openers" to be used with flakes.

Hey man my personal opinion is that convo was too long and drawn out without really saying a whole lot. What you need to do is call her and set some concrete plans. Texting is good, but it also complicates the shit out of things sometimes.

As for correcting this, use your better judgment when it comes to this and if she genuinely seems interested then she should be down to talk/hang out.

If the attraction isn't there, I would at least try again to talk to her. Don't message her right away, as it might seem a little needy. Just put it on the back burner for a bit and again, try to play it cool. If you only have an extremely limited time to hang out, then tell her that you guys are going to hang out. Don't ask her, tell her. If this isn't really your style, then say things like, "So when are we gonna hang out?" Except add personal touches to make you not sound like a robot haha. Again, being laid back, "cocky-funny", while still making sure the girl respects you will do wonders for any encounter.
