So I have been talking to my housemates friend on facebook who I met once and were talking about going to a club during the week as she has never gone to this club and I said if we go you owe me (jokingly) she said "you dont have to come" blah blah blad and I said

me:no worries i was just hoping if i played my cards right i could get you to join me for a pint some night.
her: maybe at some point

I felt trapped and didnt know what to say and I really wanted to go this club with her, what do you guys think? did I strike out, and thats here nice way of saying it will never happen? or do you think shes interested?

Don't read too much into it. I can't really tell you at this point. From what you provided, it sounds like you haven't done anything special or out of the ordinary. Sounds like the average joe to me.
