Here's the original story, not that long of a read:
help-i-gave-her-my-number-vt155415.html
Cliffs:
- Talked to girl after class and walked with her to her dorm (it was on the way to mine), asked her for her number but my phone froze up so she suggested that I just give her mine.
- This happened on Tuesday, it's Thursday now.
- She hasn't texted me at all since, so I still don't have her number.
- She seems like the type that's really into their studies and also social networks
- I don't think she gets out much
Here's the thing. I kind of teased her in class a little today and she responds positive with a smile and maybe a laugh sometimes. I didn't bring up her not texting me or asking her for her number since I was advised not to since I gave her mine, I was told just don't bring up the number at all. The thing is, she won't make the first move. Is she waiting for me to bring it up again?
Is this advisable or not? Next time I see her, which will be Tuesday unless I see her around campus this weekend (I doubt it), I was planning on saying something like, "So HB, are you playing hard to get or are you just the anti social type?" All with a smile of course. Would this cause any harm?
From there I see her responding with a smile and, "huh?? What are you talking about?"
Then I would state my intentions and tell her that I want to get to know her or something like that... maybe, "Hahaha well look. I want to get to know you... so let's start over. What's YOUR number?"
Anybody see anything going wrong with this or have any better suggestions? I just want to have the ball back in my court. I hate sitting around waiting for a text that doesn't seem like it's coming at this point. I can't figure out if she's just not interested or is just playing hard to get and waiting for me to mention it.
