Ok so here's the thing...there's this girl I've been into for the past 2 months with which I thought my efforts were going nowhere, we'd text often but she would sometimes take wayyy too long to text back, she's a co-worker so I see her almost every day. Anyways, I hadn't texted her since Friday but decided to do so casually today, after she replied that I should go to some bar she works at (she part times as a bartender) because they were having a promotion on drinks. I told her I couldn't make it tonight (partly true/ partly trying to draw on the cat string theory and throwing in some DHV)...couple of hours later she texts me to tell me she's drinking on the job cause some people she knows are there, pretty much out of the blue. Am I right in reading those texts as IOIs or am I being too hopeful? I guess I should add that she has a boyfriend that lives a 6-8 hr. drive away and whom I'll probably never meet.

I usually assume any text from a girl is a sign of interest. Play your luck
