My first real thread! Exciting!

So I walked home a collegue of mine, a beautiful swedish girl with black hair and green eyes (the most lovely combination, don´t you think ). It was 6 in the morning and still dark.
Me: It´s a shame that the lights are always on since you can never see the stars that way. I really think that whole of society would change if we would be able to gaze upon the majesty of the milky way everynight
Her: Yeah, *agrees and elaborates*
Me: But if you think about it... all these lights are turned on right now just for you and me. It´s only us here

haha pretty smooth of me I thought . So we stopped, looked at eachother, closed distance and... I KEPT ON WALKING!! haha, I am a full-on retard.

Anyway this was my question: How do you prevent from getting in the friendship-zone now after failing to escalate in such a idiotic manner? This has actually happened to me several times before, failing to kiss and get stuck in the friendship zone. I am meeting her on friday at work, should I keep flirting or perhaps act a bit cold towards her? Help and tips appreciated

PS: my god how exciting the pick-up game is! haha, it really is more exciting than skydiving, diving, fighting (in a ring) etc. These cannot even compare to the moment when you are about to walk up to a attractive woman and start a conversation!

Use both. Learn push pull. It is probably the best thing I have learned from pick up. Next time, if you feel it in your instinct to do something just do it. It will be much more rewarding and you probably won't regret it if I asked you. So you probably know how to avoid the friendzone deep down, just act on it. Just don't become a girlfriend. Simple.

yeah that quote about only regretting things that one didn´t do is definitely true. Will meet her on friday again at work. thanks for the advice I will try it

You haven't been friendzoned... But you'll be put in the pussy bucket if you continue similar approaches on her and don't kiss her. So next time you get the chance, just do it.

I've been there though... Where it was the appropriate time to kiss, or even just hold her waist and couldn't bring myself to do it. But with practice it'll come naturally.
