In my opinion this is a counterproductive activity on your part! Why close yourself inside and watch TV when you are having girl troubles?

I suggest that people get outside and do something! Go ride a bike or go fishing...Check out the local art galleries and some museums. Read about the art and learn a little bit about how it makes you feel when you see this sort of thing. Go to a sporting event or a hike in the country. Get out and meet people, talk to anyone and everyone. Say "hi" and take it from there!

Sitting at home alone is a very bad thing, because your brain will play tricks on you!

Peace…

What you say makes a lot of sense. Surely it would be more productive to get out and do something.

But it is nice to escape from reality sometimes and to watch something relatable. And that is whay movies can do. They can help you get into a better mood and actually help you face the world. Last night I was pissed so I watched High Fidelity. Now I am in a better mood.

I have seen Garden Stateand Roger Dodger. Garden State makes Mr believe that you can find love. And Roger Dodger is like you said is good for a cynical mood.

High Fidelity is so relatable. It id like I could go out and meet all those characters in real life.

Any emotional state... Big Fish. That movie is gold. Anyways I love movies, its my life, film and all. I don't think there is anything wrong with being entranced in a fantasy world occasionally and just dreaming.
