Ive been living by a philosophy that I am simply brutally honest with girls I am with but I know there is a level which is too much information. I am trying to figure this one out and am wondering if any of you could offer any direction.

Basically just tell her how a situation affects me in a non judgmental and matter of fact sort of way. For example a girl I am talking to keeps bringing up what other guys are doing around her to try to see how I react. I really want to tell her "babe with all due respect I dont want to hear about any of these other guys. all that matters to me is what happens between us." or something to that affect.

There is so much advise going around that says to basically try to cover up your emotions and just act like this doesnt affect you. I have a really hard time believing this is the right way to go about it unless it is truly genuine and you really dont care. If it affects you I feel like the most masculine thing you can do is to tell the truth about the situation. Girls are very intuitive and I feel can pick up on our tones when we are trying to cover up jealous emotions like this.

It seems to me that the ultimate form of a man would accept his perceived insecurities and flaws. One who is truly confident in himself shouldn't have any reason to cover them up.

No. You need to be brutally honest to YOURSELF. Not the girls. They don't control your life or your frame. You DO. If you feel like you don't like it, tell her and stop putting up with it. Don't put up with it because people advise you to. Hell they don't know you. Only YOU know what works for you BETTER than anyone else.

I usually just tell the girls straight up what I want or feel. I owe myself that honesty. People can take it or leave it. That's the mindset I always have.
