I was on a day date today and she asked me this twice during the three hours we spent together. The date was going well and I was genuinely enjoying myself, we were having a great day so I wasn't giving out an unsure vibe.

The first time I answered simply "I am, it's easy to have a good time with great weather and great company". In response she smiled and put her hand on my chest.

I wasn't sure how to deal with the question a second time, her asking again caught me off guard. I gently teased her about asking for a second time (I was gentle because I figured she might have felt insecure and didn't want to collapse her ego with anything too heavy handed). This lead into more playful banter so it went ok.

I've never come across a girl who has asked this before during the actual date, has anyone else experienced the same thing?

It is possibly over-analysis to look into it further because it is most likely a throw away comment and small talk she was making and nothing more but the forum's opinion on matters are always enlightening.

She's a bit insecure which in this case is a good thing. A simple good answer that iv used in the past is "I always have a good time" and smile or even a cheeky wink with it... lol

Good respone, but the reason why she asked it the second time is because she is insecure and nervous. She isn't sure if you like her or not, if you have a good time with her, or just feel bored. Perhaps you didn't showed the right body language that you like her (or not if you don't ). That you joked about it is good, and yes, you are over-analyzing this!

THIS IS NOT A SH*T TEST, if people think it might be. And tchui gave a good example. But you can only kiss if she's ready for it. Triangular gazing is good, holding hands - squeezing it and look if she mirrors is good.

You could also say: why are you asking this twice? and look for her response AND her body language. Words are only 7 percent, body languae is 93%

what wall1e say is very true. anything would be IOI, IOD, compliments or shit test, since everything has 2 side of it. I think need to look at the contexts, body languages and more stuff to see if the statements or questions is negative or positive. If it turn out to be negative, use PUA skill to turn it to positive. If it is positive, make it more positive or just leave it there. Sometime, I found myself turn a positive comment to negative by using C/F. I did too much work on something already good=.= stupid me. Calibration is very important. It shows many good qualities to girls if you know when, how, where, to do or say something. That is what my weakness. Still learning.

Yesterday, I talk to a waitress at a local bar. She knows me for a while. She only talk to me like a friend for a year. However, she all the sudden said, "I like when you wear glasses."
I was shocked. It was really out of the blue. She said it and looked away, and she avoided my eye contact with a poker face. That is incongruous when someone give a real compliment. So, I guess it was a shit test. I just reply "Thanks" because I was not ready for a shit test from her.

I think I did it right, since she told me a story about a creepy customer. Considering she never really talk to me when I go there. That is some openness from her. I don't try to game her. I just worry about my game.
