I have a few ideas about what to do if for some reason the subject of me being married comes up (incorporating your philosophy).

1. Saying sincerely, "Despite that, I find you very attractive. What she doesn't know won't hurt her."

2. Saying jokingly, "I'm not married in this state!"

3. Breaking rapport, "Why'd you have to bring that up when things were going so well between us? That's neither here nor there."

Any input guys on whether any of these would work?

Any ideas on how far out I should make plans? I will be in her town in mid October. Usually when I do business, I "confirm" meetings as soon as I know my availability, and then "reconfirm" two weeks prior. But I realize pick-up and business aren't exactly the same, and making plans that far out could come off as desperate. (Although I think the skills involved in getting someone to agree to do hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business carry over in the realm of pick-up.)

My friend flaked on me (said she had to work, and also she apparently lives further from the town than she'd let on), so unfortunately it didn't happen. She said she'd take the day off the next time I'm in town, however (which will probably be next year).

However, I met up with another, younger friend (21) of mine in the next town, incorporated some of the input I received on this thread (breaking rapport, kino escalation, and especially kissing her before offering to go back to my hotel), and we had mind-blowing sex that night.
