Went out again last night, and I think I can get past that I am going out alone, I can fight through the feelings. The beginning was kind of slow again, but once I started to warm up and little buzzed from alcohol, I started not to care much about anything. Again I was in "making friends" mentality.
Since I've been watching RSD Blueprint, I haven't used any canned openers or other gambits. Now, blueprint is all about inner game and being rooted to what you are as a person. I know this is way against what beliefs I should have, but looks probably do matter a lot to girl of beauty. I tried opening EVERY set of girls last night, which was maybe about 25 or so, and only the less desired girls were responsive to simple high five and how is your night guys introduction/opener. So am gonna say about half of the sets opened. Now your gonna think that I am not delivering it properly or being congruent? well I certainly wasn't making newbie mistakes like leaning in, talking quietly, not having good eye contact, talk fast,.... I don't know, it seems like either I should use some canned opinion opener or maybe I can't get hot girls, not sure.
Also people at RSD, or other PUA for this matter, seem to be more handsome than average guy so it does have to do something with looks, lol.
Hey man, well done for going out and doing it. I'm sure with more practice and becoming more comfortable, you will get into sets with hot girls.
I went out alone for the first time last night too. Just to my local town, and by the time I got out I just headed straight for the club. To be honest it was a struggle, did feel a little weird but I know that is all in my head. As other posters in this thread have said, there is nothing wrong with it. I need to internalise that and go out solo more to get used to it.
For the first hour I didn't speak to anyone. When I went into the club everyone was ushered into one room, and I noticed the crowd was fairly young. Then everyone was handed head phones - it was one of those silent party things, where the DJ plays music through the headphones lol. That threw me for a loop! Soon other places opened up and I headed to a different room that played early 90s rock, which I liked, so that was cool and I was able to talk to lots of people. Actually ran into some girls I know, not attractive, but had a bit dance with them which helped give me a bit of social proof and I opened a HB7 just by dancing near her, then got talking. Soon thought some areseholes started a brawl and the whole room (which wasn't very big) got cleared out so broken glass could be cleaned up. Lost the HB7 at this point.
So it was back to the silent disco, so I set up near to the bar, and spoke to a few people there, and its so true, once you get the first few out of the way, once you get over that initial wall, it becomes so much easier. I was opened by a rather large lady, lol, but then her HB8 friend joined us and I spoke to her too, she was hammered and stunk of booze, but the convo went pretty well, till her boyfriend showed up. Bugger. I know there are ways of continuing the conversation here, and I did, including him in it and he seemed cool enough, but made an excuse to leave shortly after.
Lights came up shortly after and it was time to head home. So I did it, my first solo sarging session. Not a massive success by any stretch but I did it, and will make it a regular thing. Practice makes perfect. However the biggest thing I learned is that if you are on your own, people don't seem to care. I was never once asked 'who are you out with' or 'where are your friends'.
As someone said before, its not weird until you make it weird.
