If your at a bar, club, mall, party etc... And you want to close on a girl you just met.

Wouldn't it be better to give your number to her and not get her's, so that you won't appear needy/instead more desirable and also make it easier to know if she is truly interested in you by receiving that 1 phone call. If you don't get that phone call then you know she really wasn't interested to begin with and so you can move on with your life towards the next one.

just say I give you my number. and then take her phone and call yourself. this way you can just call her instead of waiting desperately for her to call which might happen nevertheless

Get her number. I hand her my phone and she does it herself. Then Give her my number and when types's it in say she can save it as "Say something cocky instead of your name"..

No. Get her number. Odds of her cold calling you are under 10%.

ALWAYS OBTAIN THE NUMBER OF HERS. Why? For a few reasons:

- You handed your phone and maybe she wasn't very interested. So asked for your phone number so she knows that she won't have to see you anymore because she won't call you
- The girl is too afraid to call you and maybe will never call you. Opportunity missed.
- Her friends tell her: so you got a phone number from a guy you just met? What do you know about this guy? bla bla. They talk her out of it and she won't call you.
- She is insecure about what will happen in the future when she dates you.

Now why do you need to get the phone number?

- It shows you actually have the balls to call her (if your text game is good, text her, but i recommend calling)
- You can be in charge wether you want to go for a coffee at the moment or a bar.
- You show interest by actually calling her
- Most girls won't call the day after. So if you do, the iron is still hot, and she still has some kind of attraction. If you wait too long, chances are fairly lower to get a day2.
