Actually those openers are fine if you have game, its the body language, voice tone, and eye contact that's going to open them not clever words.

Gonna disagree with you here: Direct works very well during the day. It's all about how you say it. I've had girls literally gasp at my approach.

I don't do night game that much. These are my day-game openers:
1) "Hi. (pause). You are absolutely adorable. What is your name?"
2) "I have something to tell you. (pause). You're super cute. What's your name?"
3) "I'm going to join you (seated set). I hope that's cool with you. I'm ______."

I usually dont game often, but when I do at night I usually use situational stuff, I usually don't do canned. IF I use canned stuff I usually take the is kissing cheating thing.

Hey, it's not a good idea to diss people just because of what they do. We've all here for advice, not bashing. As for openers, i usually go for situational.

Remember, it's not about the opener but about your confidence, body language. You can say anything with right amount of confidence and tone. It's not about opening, it's about escalating, mid game, closing. It's true, when you open properly, it's a whole lot of easier to go on, but don't stress too much about it, just go and open with what you feel comfortable with and flow on from there.

haha believe me, that's not what I'm doing. don't be so arrogant to pretend you know the perfect formula for getting laid. being comfortable and confident is 9/10s of the battle most of the time.

That was the funniest thing I have ever heard, but really? I just went up to a couple today because well the truth is there was this guy who sounded really gay, and I just had to find out, but there was a girl with him of course. And I simply went up said Hey can I sit here, theres something different about you guys. He was wearing a costume, enough said.

But I had to get his number to not sound like a douche threw them both out right away, but yea. I just did it to piss of a girl I was taking out to that same restaurant. She took 15 mins to decide if she wants to eat or not.

Point is very funny, very stupid, very arrogant, and it all made it just more funnier!
