| Well like Casual, I’ve never been too big on opinion openers. When I approach a set I prefer to do it after I’ve done worked the room a bit making casual talk with people socializing and showing some sort of social proof.
I usually don’t approach a set till I’ve got some IOI’s from a potential target, such as eye contact especially if I’m in a club or bar, then I excuse myself from my group and approach her.
“When you approach from a group you are not a random guy but an ambassador. To reject you she would have to reject your people. But in this case she has already invited you with her eyes. It’s all good.”-Juggler
But as far as the question goes it’s a great opener, but after I’ve made my approach and made an introduction to the new set, I’d say something more along the lines of:
PUA- “ I got a question for you guys.”
Them- “ Ok, shoot!”
PUA- “It’s going to sound kind of odd, but, I was wondering, would you let someone you've known a whole 2 hours blindfold you?”
Lol this is the funny part cause they’ll probably give you a strange look and start laughing.
Them- “Uhh, I don’t know, all depends on the circumstances I guess, or whatever blah blah blah……”
PUA- “ I was just asking because a friend of mine ……..”
Then after your story they’ll probably have a different opinion of the question given the scenario. Then I would start the Negs, but that’s just me and how I would handle it, everyone has there own style when it comes to opening so that part my friend is all you.
I by no means consider myself a consultant on the subject matter, and as far as your material, I do like it, I think it’s a good opener. Good luck.
