I go to swim and there is a pretty girl that often goes too, it is difficult to open a conversation because even when we share the same lane she stops only a few seconds just to take a breath.
do you have any ideas to open the conversation?

It's daygame so try an indirect opener that will not creep her out and in that way you disqualify yourself as being a potential suiter.. it's a great way to open indirectly I already tried it.. girls love to talk about these situations.. Good luck!!

I started going to the pool last week and I regret to do it so late because I am typically the only guy there...except maybe for the lifeguard

its mostly moms with kids but couple solo girls were there too, exchanged hi's with one swimming at a lane but thats about it

it seems like chix come there to tan and not for water, so im wondering how I can use that...maybe go up and say "are you afraid of water?" and invite her to go for a swim

That's fragile.. could work or couldn't.. it's a little bit too direct.. you're probably going to creep her out if you just say "Come swim with me" she doesnt even know you.. it's daygame so you must approach in the most indirect way you can..
