Believe it or not, girls love sexting. It makes them feel desired. But that doesn't mean she will sleep with you. You should never sext a girl you've never met before (especially with online dating) due to these following reason:

1. You have no idea who she is. For all you know, she can be some ugly 300 lbs chick. Or worse, a 15 years old kid. Is all the sexting worth the trouble?
2. Sexting before meeting greatly increases the chance of getting flaked.
3. Set unrealistic expectation.
4. Lower her level of interest as she now knows she can have you easily.

If you've slept with the girl before, then by ALL mean, sext her. If not, just stick with flirting and sexual innuendos, you have more chance for a meet up and build better sexual tension that way.

Actually I found it's best to not mention sex at all. For example, sometimes I just simply make plan for a homemade dinner and talks about favorite food - "I love playing with whipped cream... so soft... creamy.. and melted on the tip of your tongue " - then let her imagination runs wild and the sexual tension builds itself.

You don't have to use explicit sexual words or images to turn her on. Just suggestive innuendo and future rejection are enough to do the job.
