Anyways, what has worked best for you guys inner game wise? Like what program, book, or seminar you watched had a tremendous impact on you. Please share. This will not only benefit me but all of the guys starting or who are in PUA. I really want to get this area of my life handled.
Allright, I cant believe I missed this post!
Inner game. It is a decision.
You need to take a decision, you need to practice and you need to accept... You also need to face your fears. Gonna tell you how in a moment.
Decide:
You need to decide that getting this part of your life fixed, you gotta decide if it is more important than your own comfort. Is it? Is is not?
Your own comfort as in, if things are getting tough and uncomfortable, are you prepared to remember the decision you once made? Are you prepared to face the difficulties even if it means that you need to face your fears? This is what you need to decide. If you decide that you will do whatever it takes in order to learn inner game then you have taken your first step on the way of inner game mastery.
Practice:
You need to get out there. You need as others have pointed out, to stop looking for the simple easy solution that you get from books and seminars. Sure they can help you but they can only show you the door, you are the one who has to go through it. (Yes that was Morpheus.)
You get confidence (true confidence) from knowing that you can do it. You know that you can do it because you have done it before. Or you have done similar things before and the step is small enough for you to know that you can deal with it from your previous experience. If you have done a thing enough you will get used to it, it wont be a big deal. So, you have to get this experience. you gotta get used to being in field.
Accept:
You need to accept that it is gonna be tough. You have made your decision havent you. Accept that you cant be the best on your first try. Accept that you are gonna fail several times, you are gonna crash and burn. Accept that you are gonna face difficulties and you are not always gonna feel up to the challenge. But you gonna have to accept that you have to do it anyways, if you fail or succeed isnt important. The only thing that is important is your training. That you get experience.
Facing your fears:
Your biggest challenge is facing your fears. Here your worst enemy is yourself. This is what separates the winners from the losers, the quitters from the ones who can go that extra mile and see that all it took was just that last step that you didnt think you could take but did anyway. In order to get rid of your inner demons, you gotta know what they look like. If you dont, you cannot fight them. This is what people fear the most, accepting that they have weaknesses. To honestly see themselves and their darker sides, their weaknesses and their flaws. It hurts to admit that you arent perfect, it will feel like you are not worthy of anything. It will feel like you are a complete loser. But go past it, accept that you can have problems and still be an awesome guy. This is how you can form a strategy to battle your inner demons. Take them one by one and expose yourself to them. Every time you win over one of your demons you get stronger and that demon gets weaker. As a bonus, you dont just get stronger against that specific demon, you increase your overall strength. battling the others will get easier too.
I hope this helps man, this is what I did and I went from being a pathetic loser to being much much stronger than I ever thought I could be.
