Wow! What a weekend! Not only were the teachers a great group of people, but the students where a fantastic group of guys. As for my thoughts on the individual teachers...

The Saint
This guy is so good that it's scary. He comes in so high energy that he just makes you want to succeed. He's very well spoken, has great vocal tonality, is incredibly knowledgeable, and seems able to make you feel like you are the only student at all times. The Saint could have closed probably 20 different HB's (LITERALLY) but threw them either to us or back in order to teach. He teaches natural game, having been a natural for years himself, and when he does you don't see it as "game" anymore. It becomes a matter of improving yourself, and presenting your inner attractive High Value persona to the people around you. He also pushes comfort zones past the edge, is absolutely insane, and it was an honor and a pleasure to learn from him.

Not only is the Saint a great mPUA, he is very professional. Very well prepared with a curriculum (that I'm sure he created with Zip ) a great sense of style, and an incredible ability to read people and size them up in seconds.

Zip
After reading all 50 pages of her "Ask Zip!" thread I thought I was ready for anything. I wasn't. First off, she's a beautiful woman (don't tell her I said that) who's funny, playful, and 100% real. Secondly, she is an encyclopedia of PUA knowledge. I really liked the fact that I could mention something I had read about and she could tell me her thoughts on it, what 37 other PUA's thought about it, the year it was developed and the color of the book that it's published in.

In field she makes opening sets like cutting though butter with a hot knife. She DHV's for you, show preselection, helps you isolate, corrects body language, pumps BT... In a nutshell she makes that HB 10 in the corner eye fuck you, what you do with that is up to you. If anyone is going to be in NY, you NEED to message Zip and see if she's available for private instruction and winging.

While all the students were great one really stood out as a full PUA, Konica. I welcome the chance to wing with him any day.

There are a few things that really stand out in my mind about this workshop.

Number one was how the instructors came out and said how they really felt that we are all students. They weren't any "better" then us, just more experienced. The focus of the workshop was learning together.

The whole Charisma Concept crew was incredibly professional. The details were all handed by them, we started out with lecture followed by field work. Then it was time for debrief, more lecture, then more field work. However, the lecture never felt like lecture, it was just fun conversation that was loaded with magic bullets.

Rolling with a group of PUA's is unlike anything else. When you enter a venue with masters the air is electric. The Saint gave me the courage to say fuck it, and just try new things. A workshop is for learning, for bringing your game to the next level. I really feel that's exactly what happened here. I only wish I would have had more time to soak up information.

Bottom line, if you can make it to any think where the Saint, or Zip will be there you absolutely should. The personal attention they give you, their ability to instruct, and their passion to really help make you not only a better PUA but a better person is unmatched.

Rather than going to the next bar with the group, The Saint and I retired to recap on the night. We really connected during this discussion and I truly feel that The Saint is an amazing individual. After telling him how I felt about the bar I learned some very important things.
- It is important to push yourself, but know when you are pushing yourself too hard. If you are tired and can’t think and doing the same thing incorrectly over and over, know when you need to take a break.
- Trying to prove something to yourself is setting yourself up for failure. Instead of simply having fun, I was focusing on the outcome instead of the moment. This also stems from having poor self-confidence. He taught me to tell myself that I love myself while watching myself in the mirror. Through realizing this I will develop my own self-confidence.
- He also suggested that I come up with a lot of my own canned material to start out. Doing so will allow myself to develop more self-confidence without feeling guilty about using someone else’s material.
- He also pointed out the severity of how I shoved the girl. Doing something like that is not something that should ever be done and could have ended much worse.
- I have very apologetic tendencies. When walking through the club it was hard to keep up with The Saint because I was letting people by me instead of walking alpha. Furthermore, when talking with him and others I would apologize when it was not really necessary to.
- There is a difference between alpha and alpha omega. Alpha omega is basically a control freak and a tough guy.
On Sunday Zip and The SAINT discussed many things but here are a few that stuck out.
- When a guy tells you “Thank you” for performing some sort of service, reply with something like “anytime” or “no prob.” It is a subtle statement that shows your alpha ness.
- If you are friendly with the guys in a bar they can become your instant wingman with any women there.
- When a guy is going to squeeze your hand during a handshake, point your fingers down their wrist and the squeeze won’t hurt. Then say something like, “Wow, you’ve got a strong hand shake.”
- Pay attention to a woman’s face during a set to watch for potential obstacles or friends. If one of her friends comes up behind you, she will generally smile in which case you have to acknowledge the friend or you come off as a jerk. If a stranger comes up behind you she will show it on her face in which case you can adapt your positioning to block him from approaching her.
On the train ride home I decided to try something new. I was thinking about all the progress and realization I had made over the weekend and wanted to really affirm to myself and fix my illogical self-confidence issue. I decided to combine self-hypnosis with the affirmations that The Saint had taught me.
After putting myself into a light hypnosis I told myself that I love myself. I ended up seeing images of my friends and family. Some of which I had not seen in a very long time. And I came to the realization that they love me for me, so I have no reason not to as well.
I really had no idea how powerful this could be when magnified by hypnosis. Honestly this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It felt as though chains and shackles I had worn my entire life were being ripped off and cast away. It was so powerful that I was moved to tears and was practically bawling on the train. It was a strange sort of tears. They were not tears of sadness. Rather, I felt liberated and free. It is difficult to describe such an emotion.
