I am starting to notice a pattern and I am curious if you guys have seen it. I think, for several years now, it's escaped my notice, because it's far more long term and incremental.

You meet a girl. Immediately things start to ramp up. If you're really good (and this happened the last couple times) you don't even really go out for day two. Meet, build via text, or phone or something, then day two is at her place.

It continues if you can't immediately push past LMR, then it keeps ramping up and then EVERYTHING grinds to a halt. She almost seems disinterested in a way. Just one day, everything stops. No rhyme or reason behind it. It can even happen after sleeping together.

In some cases, I can see where I've fucked up, in others, I don't think I have.

Anyone else notice this? I'm guessing the only thing to do is release and pull back even further. It almost reminds me of LMR, that gasp before things cross the threshold, except on a longer timeline.

Could be any number of things:

1) you pursued the fuck so aggressively that the girl just gave in and let you fuck her one time to get rid of the tension

2) she sees you as a one night stand / a player so not interested in an LTR

3) she just used you for the sex or validation

4) you are being too needy post-sex.... eg. Texting/Calling too much, suggesting a relationship after only one night together etc.

5) she has found a better guy

6) sorry to mention it, but you might suck in bed / you may have a small penis??

Good list, but sometimes it's before sex. As in, right up to the point, can't break LMR so you come back another or day or something.

That said, I think I may have struck upon the answer. David D talks about two steps forward, one step back. I think I am just continuing forward, regardless and not taking the step back. It's a theory right now, but one that may fit the pattern.

I've been going over stuff for clues on this and anyone reading this might find this helpful. This appears to be part of a shit test. They apparently have their own version of 2 forward, 1 back.


The last one did this. Significant LMR, several day 2s, then without notice, she stops texting and calling and then cancels a date. I just found in something David D put out, this is in fact a shit test.

I basically cancelled all remaining plans, cut off all contact with her. She flipped the fuck out, so obviously I don't have end game figured out yet.

You probably haven't made her sufficiently horny before making your move. For Day 2's treat the girl like your girlfriend right off the bat, pick up where you left off in the club the first time you met. Tons of strong eye contact, heavy touching, kissing, when you get into the bedroom or on the couch, strip to your underwear but keep your t-shirt on when you go to the bathroom to wash your dick. Resume kissing and be very open about the bulge developing in your groin area. She will notice it and get turned on, encourage her non-verbally to touch it and go from there.
