There's just about as much evidence that 9s and 10s are approached less than there is about 6s and 7s being approached more. In short, these 'theories' mean nothing as they're purely anecdotal. For every argument you make about 9s and 10s getting approached less, I can give you an equally, if not more so compelling reason that speaks to the contrary.
Remember, not everyone has the same level of physical attractiveness to the same person. That said, one man's 7 may very well be the next man's 10; who's to say or judge (besides you). So, if you're attracted to her, that's all that matters - don't sit there pondering how many times she may or may not have been approached based on your perceptive of her level of physical attractiveness.
In my estimation the hotter the girl, the more she's been approached. But lets face it, for most women men are plentiful (they get approached far more than even the 'best' of guys out there - they're socially conditioned to be pursued while males are typically the pursuers, as far as gender scripts are concerned anyway) but QUALITY guys are a scarce resource, so in the end everything balances out (guys having the inverse quality vs. quantity).
