Okay, absolutely next her. I'm all about giving people benefit of a doubt, but that's something I'd pull if I started to regret setting up a date. Family things do happen, but if she didn't come to you with the solution to that problem as well as the problem... it's not about the family emergency. It's about her.
Yeah I detected traces of that regret you spoke of in her voice, and my BS radar is not half bad either. What sucks is I'm sure we would've had a blast if we'd just met. But I'm sure that's just the rAFC/lesbian inside of me speaking.

Sup Zip!

Here's my first question to you on this thread. On the first page, you said:
Quote:
Knock me out of routine + suspense = I will slightly obsess about you for 2-3 days.
What are some ways guys have "knocked you out of routine" and have built suspense? Can you give an example or two where he has done so, making you "obsess" over him with a day 2 following afterward?

Can you give an example or two where you guys made out at the venue?

Can you give an example or two where he pulled you for a Same Night Lay?

I know I'm asking for the keys to your heart, here, but bear with me
It's not like I'm gunna game the pivot

Aah, you're doing something dangerous and pulling an idea I gave on the first page of a 40+ paged thread... obviously I've evolved a bit from that first round of answering questions...

However, you did happen to pull one of the formulas that I am absolutely the most proud of, still 100% believe in, and definitely look for when I meet potential mates.

It's so rare that this formula is done correctly on me... I'm going to have to dig for a good example.

One of the guys I'm dating now, saw me picking up another one of the guys I'm dating now at a bar. Guy number one is nicknamed "Porn Star" while the latter is nicknamed "Irish Andy." Some of the guys who know me personally on the forum have heard tales of these two before.

Anyway, I'm trying to get Irish Andy's attention, so I start up a conversation with The Porn Star nearby. I break conversation with The Porn Star, and go to open Irish Andy and his Irish Friend, bla bla bla... pull all the girl game crap I usually do, and The Porn Star comes up to me, fixes a strap on my shirt, and says, "He'll like your collarbones. Show them off a bit. He looks like a collarbones kind of guy" and walks away smiling.

It completely broke my usual routine. He pulled something that no guy has ever done before (called me out on what I was doing/ gave me a "tip" to get another guy) and then just dared to walk away. I knew he was playing with me because he was smiling. Another way of putting it... he patterned me, which is the technique I've personally developed to successfully relate to others in a social environment. He figured out what I was doing by looking at my patterns of movement, body language, proximity, and interactions. He used said patterning against me, breaking me out of my habit, and leaving me alone with my jaw dropped (suspense.) It was fucking magical.

I still had my attention on Irish Andy that night, but I kept quiet focus on The Porn Star. Both received my number. While I was on my date with Irish Andy the next day, all I could think about was The Porn Star.

-----

Answering your other questions:

I don't like making out at venues. Literally, when this happens, I'm just fucking drunk and stop caring. There are exceptions to this rule, and I'll try to think of one so I can be a bit more helpful on this topic.

As far as a same night lay: I don't do these. Sorry, but I'm not helpful here. Wish I could be of better service to you in this department. :(

Thanks, Zip. Looking forward to hearing whatever else you have to say on this topic and for more examples.

Psh. You and your illusions of "high qualty." =P
Oh, and I'm not calling you a low quality woman, by the way. I'm saying that everyone is of awesome quality, and no one can possibly be of any higher in quality foundationally as human beings. That's the reason we're able to connect with, feel compassion for, and love one another in the first place.
As a PUA coming from a Taoist/Buddhist perspective, I really don't believe in the whole "I dont do" perspective as something that can actually be a part of reality unless it's merely just another illusion of ego that causes suffering.
...but that might be a little off topic

Thread Hijack!! :D

Well initially Chief, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt when I meet them. But when you find out more about people, and the things they'd go to lengths to do for money or pussy, I would absolutely disagree that we are all the same quality in character and manners.

Like for example when a man surreptitiously AMOG's his friends to inflate his value in the eyes of women. Don't get me wrong, I can respect the AMOG'ing, but I prefer a more direct approach---stab me in the front and not the back if you will.

OK, please continue your lively banter with Zip. I'm taking notes, being an wbAFC and all. :)

Sorry, Zip, but I have to back up what I've stated about what I believe in haha

I believe that people do such things because they aren't being true with themselves. They are confused by the illusions they've set themselves up to see because they are afraid of accessing their true selves and ability to have compassion for anyone and everyone.

I also believe that we have the ability to have compassion for those who are misguided. For a more western version of the eastern philosophy I'm preaching, Jesus said "turn the other cheek." This can be misinterpretted to be a very AFC thing to do, just as people can misinterpret "be yourself" as AFC advice. However, when you tell a well-centered PUA the same thing, what happens?

Chief,

Your rant goes off of an assumption. You assume my statement above means I think I'm better than those who do engage in one same night lays. Your assumption is absolutely unfounded and incorrect. Now, if I had said "As far as the same night lay: I absolutely don't do these. Sorry, but I'm not a slut" I wouldn't be half as annoyed by your thread hijacking.

I said I "wish I could be of better service to you in this department" because, honestly, I just can't enjoy sex unless I have rapport with the guy. That doesn't mean I have to love him or even like him, I just have to know him enough to be turned on. For me, that takes a long time because I inherently do not trust people. I'm in my early twenties... I've still got a ways to go as my maturity level is concerned.

Notice I don't usually answer questions about sex. I know when to lead and when to follow. I'm on a self-motivated hiatus from sexual activity as a way to reconnect and ground myself, so I've duly noted I'm not of use to anyone in this area until I'm done with my experiment.

For the five-millionth-time: When I say that I can't help you with a sex related question, it's not because I think I'm above it. I'm being honest. I am not the best person to ask right now.

Now, as far as the thread hijack, shame on you! I like you two, so we shall let it slide. Next time, take the quotation you'd like to tangent from, create a new thread in the appropriate section of the forum FOR the tangent, and notify the quoted party through PM as a courtesy. I really should write a manual on forum etiquette.

P.S. You were right Chief, this is not a good week to get me started

Oh, and as far as pressing one's belief system on everyone else...

I don't correct people's grammar, I don't correct other's cosmology. I would love to learn more about Buddhism, and I'll search for some posts on here in hopes you have shared your world view and advice with the rest of the forum... but don't ask me a question, get back an honest answer, then call me out on how your assumption of my subtext does not fit with YOUR belief system... on my own thread.

By the way, (now I'm hijacking my own thread) this is an awesome point. Have you written anything on this subject? If not, WILL you? The set of sentences above made me epiphany all over the place because a lot of the guys I'm working with are struggling with the pith of this dilemma.

How does one be a "gentleman" AND a PUA?
How does one be a human being AND a PUA?
How does one be a "good person" AND a PUA?
How does one "be yourself" and become a PUA?

None of these are mutually exclusive. I'm going to research a bit more... you've got me started.

It's all going into my book. Won't be released in a while, though. You'll see me posting stuff about here and there, though.

Chief and I had exchanged some POV's a little while back about Eastern Philosophy and PUA....It is a hard topic to cover because it still goes back to "no such thing as morality." Which isn't an aspect of Budhism and Taosim that I believe in. Chief, I love hearing you rant... you need to get that book out soon so I can read it, and hate it (and love it....all at the same time!)
;)

3-vt13885.html?postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30

page 3-6 there is some dabbling of Eastern Philosophy. Not really relative or informative, but it just goes to show that it IS in the community. Ignore the occasional banter thrown in there by other parties
