I've had a few MLTRs who knew my trade and were both cool with it. It's not a bad idea per se.

I once wrote a post called 'how to sarge yourself an educated pivot'. I go through a similar process with LTRs. If they respond negatively to the first piece, I leave it at that for some time, then go back and try again.

you can tell your girlfriend about the pua community but it doesn't really matter. you are basically just telling her that you are afraid of losing her ( which makes you NEEDY ). have you ever heard of master pua's picking up women with boy friends? hell, i stole someone's girlfriend in 11th grade. she simply told me that i was more interesting and more fun than he was and SHE told him that when she dumped him by txt message!!! I think your reading skills are seriously flawed since i didnt say anything about "being a pua makes you needy" if that was true i would be a needy SOB ( if i did say something about it then show me and ill retract this statement) ... but thats another story... being a pua doesn't make you needy... telling your long term girlfriend that you do not want to lose about it makes you needy. but hell, it doesn't matter because when you have soo many stories and routines in your arsenal, you could open a set and get the girl without using any known routines.

to put it simple, telling all girls about it would seriously make it harder for the newbies to f-close a girl you already closed.

I have two LTRs and they both know about the community. I don't get into a lot of specifics but most of them are fascinated by it. I was open and honest with them about the fact I write field reports to learn and get better. They also understand it's not like I put their names on these reports and it's anonymous, with us using handles, or PUA names.

It's not a bad thing for them to know, especially if you want it to evolve into a relationship. Women are very understanding. I do typically wait a few dates until I lay it on them though.
