Hey guys,

This is my report on my very first day in field ever. I'm usually a complete AFC at nightclubs, but after watching the Show, and ready MM book, decided to give this all a try. Will appreciate your feedback.

Stumbled around the venue for 30 minutes looking for a "perfect set" to open. Huge approach anxiety. Rehearsing openers in my head, can't approach anyone. Also, the place was way to loud to work in. The only quiet spots were the far corners and, basically, there was no way to imitate indirect openers without looking needy.

Yet, while waiting at the bar near the mentioned corner, managed to open a 6 set of girls (6–8s) by helping them take a picture. The result was quite surprising, they started introducing themselves, the whole set, touching, grabbing, etc. Completely lost control of the set. Then one of them, while introducing her friend said that this friend thinks I'm cute. Did not have a solid response for that, so said the first thing that popped into my mind: “I also think I'm cute.” The reaction was a loud “Oh, fuck you!” (not mean, but not playful either), and I lost the set.

Few minutes later, tried David Bowie opener on one of the girls separated from the set, but right after the question “Do you think he's hot?,” she grabbed my face with her hands, said “Why the fuck should I care?,” and I lost her. Maybe the set was high or something; they seamed very ADHD.

While standing in line for coat-check, opened a 2 set (a guy and a 7) with the MM Fight opener. This one went smoothly, but I soon realized that they were dating each other and rolled off after exchanging names.

When leaving the club, a girl in line asked why am I so dressed up (new avatar . Again, had no idea what to say and answered: “Because I'm awesome?” Hard to say how she reacted, because I, being not satisfied with my answer, left quickly.

Well, I guess for the very first time playing the Game, it wasn't so bad. After all I did meet more people than I usually do at such places

Self-suggestions:
- Should've used an FTC after taking a picture, maybe, that would calm them down a bit.
- Failed negging.
- Need a response to “My friend thinks you're cute” and “Why are you so dressed up?”
- Must follow 3 seconds rule
- Must find a better place

FORGET Mystery.

Next time you go out, just walk in sets, greet everyone, shake everyone's hand, ask them how their night has been and say it was nice to meet you. This shouldn't take longer than 3 minutes a set. Do this with every set and soon you'll know everyone in there that the girls will open you instead of visa versa.

I'm not a big fan of MM, but I admit, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have start gaming, so couple of things for you my friend.


Although MM is great for beginners and you can get very far, the process is very slow, if you just want to kill your AA do what Valon said open the set (direct/indirect), introduce, high five, important thing is that you're happy and you enjoy the process, just fuck around while doing it.

For example you can use 60 years of challenge's method, which is accualy hardcore escalation and if the girl is interested (like that one in 6 set**) you'll get in fast.

There are a lot of different methods out there and I can't say which one is the right one for you, because each person has a different style (personally I like to mix it all).

But in a longterm I would suggest that you pick something more natural game, because routines are great, but if they are not yours (from your personallity) the girl'll feel it and she'll wonder off and plus memorizing routines can be hard sometimes and you don't kniw which one to pull out at perfect time


that's why:


**You lost that girl in 6 set, because she already had attraction for you, there was sexual tension between the two of you and you killed it with and opener.

FUCK MYSTERY? that's like saying FUCK THE BEATLES? i'm going to give you all some valuable information. The Beatles sold the most albums of all time. created the most subgenres in rock & had the most hits as solo artists. So if your in a band you better listen to the fucking beatles

Mystery invented 90% of the techniques that all the teachers are using. I've studied many teachers man... Mystery has the most concepts that work. He's right 95% of the time. I've never seen another PUA with a show that lasted 2 seasons, that was as big as mysterys.

If you recall there is a rule called the 3 second rule. You see a set then you react & open it with in 3 seconds whether it goes well or not. & it's best to open as soon as you enter like 1 minute in a half after entering the venue. Even better to open the least threatening looking sets to get in a talkative mood.

as of peacock theory that shit fucking works if you do it right. Girls will not grab you & open you if you don't have any girls by you or if you're not wearing interesting clothes.

when a girl asks you a ? that's an IOI. indicator of interest. some verbal IOIs are fake in the beginning so you neg the hot girls.

better response then "I also think I'm Cute" would be to NEG(You have eye crustys) & smile then stack by throwing in a new opener or story. SO she doesn't have time to respond. & ignoring her the first 3 minutes or so IS very important if she's not alone.

dude you can even get away with using OLD game material. I remember style saying if she says is that from the game? just say YA, my friend wrote that book & we were having a debate whether or not they worked what do you think? & you can have a 20 minute debate & your in so much more that way.

you must of never heard of hoop theory either. IF a girl asks you a ? at the beginning you can ask her a different ? back & if she answers 1st you gain a little bit of value.

Valon & Kupid, thanks for your feedback guys, but it's much easier to say "just say hi to everyone and have fun" than to do. Like that's been working out for me for the last 21 years . Yet, yesterday I've seen that canned material can help me overcome some of the usual freezing up. Maybe, as I progress, I'll adjust my game, but for now MM sounds pretty good.

OzzPUA, man, thank you so much! That's some really valuable stuff that I will definitely apply. Peacocking totally worked, I just need more practice to utilize it fully. As for what I should've said, I think you're completely right. Again, thanks a lot!

Detailed field report. I'm still quite surprised how an opener like "do you think he's hot?" made the girl grab your face the way she did! I've just never encountered that type of situation before. If I had to speculate on what happened, I would say that she was probably trying to impress the guy she was talking too and you completely embarrassed the shit out of her.

As for advice, I'm not extremely experienced as well, (don't take it personally) definitely a lot more than you though. But here it goes:

- Right when you entered the club you stood around for a while not doing anything, this will immediately put you in a social exile position. People will all see you as that loser creep who is stalking everyone.

- I'm not saying you can't be successful with openers like "do you think he is hot?" But I just wouldn't really recommend using them. Seriously, they're too 'loud.' Maybe certain people physically and personality wise can convey these openers better. However, from my perspective this opener makes you sound like an ass.

- I definitely applaud you for going out and at least trying, DON'T STOP.

- It was good that you ejected when you realized you sounded lame.

- Try a club with less noise next time?

- Maybe utilize a wing next time as well.

Good report, and you seem pretty well on your way. Facegrab girl just seems like a psycho to me.

About MM, it's not bad. But you should also study up on other methods, learn various styles and then blend them in a way that feels most natural to you.

psychx, I'm pretty sure there wasn't any other guy at the moment, so this whole thing totally shocked me But I'll definitely keep working on all this. It would be stupid of me to expect amazing results on the first day after years of failure. But it's not the first thing I've learned by trial and error, so I'm ready to crush and burn

About the opener, I do think it's kinda tough for me to pull off. And I always get more anxiety because it's been used on the Show. I'm looking into more openers now...

Oh man, this made me laugh so hard.
