OK, first of all this report should have been due next week since I didn't have any plan of going out this Saturday. The friend with whom I usually go out (He is a good friend and kinda natural but not into the Game) was out of town for the long weekend.

So this other friend of mine called and I just got ready to go in like 10 mins. There were 3 of us (those 2 are not into the game and there were not my wings as such).
We went to the usual spots: Bar L and Club K though we spent most of the time at the Bar only.

Now, I didn't open any sets today as well and technically this was not a successful night but the point is that there was a lot of difference in my attitude.

that I went to the field with a lot positive attitude. So even though I didn't open much, I wasn't much bothered about it. My heart beat was not that high due to anxiety when I saw a set. I was just having great fun with my friends, joking with them and having a good time without much worry.
Also earlier today morning, I went to a newbie mission as well (whose report I posted in the newbie mission thread started by Chief) which was not successful but still it helped me get a positive attitude.

So after chatting for around 2 hours at the Bar, we went to the club for a while but since there was not much crowd there (due to Memorial day long weekend I guess) we went back to the Bar. I went after my friends and they told that they had some chicks with them so I also went to the bar.

Now since the chicks were already with my friends, so I had no intentions of playing game on them but I thought it wont do any harm if I practice some stuff on them.
Those were HB5 or HB6. When I went there, I sat next to HB6 (in red) after my friend introduced me to her. I didn't talk much with HB5 (in green) coz she was sitting on the other side with my other friend.

So, I just started chatting normally with her. She was looking quite positive and playful. When she asked my name, I spelled it for her (people don't usually get my name correctly so I have to spell it for them lol)
anyway, I learned a good thing here that when you are spelling your name, you can actually use of lots of funny stuff to convey some of your qualities (rather than the usual A as in apple and N as in Nancy stuff you can use C as in Cool and S as in Sexy may be) and thats what I did and I somehow I conveyed to her that I am techie guy (which I am but I don't want girls to know this since this may intimidate them which is what I don't want)

Then the conversation was like:

HB6: So, you are a techie guy huh?
Me: No I don't know anything about technology. I just made that up.
HB6: No you do. What do you do?
Me: I have my own business
HB6: What business
Me: Import-Export
HB6: What do you deal in?
Me: I trade in slaves (credit to PUA from whom I got it, I think Style in The Game)
Then she starts laughing and talks something like if I do drugs etc.

Then I said I don't but then pointing towards my friend (with whom she was) I used the drug dealer opener as part of the conversation asking her if my friend looks like a drug dealer and saying that some guy outside came to him and asked him if he's got some "E". Now all this time I was doing lots of Kino with her(like putting my arms around her neck when doing the drug dealer thing) and she was reciprocating as well. Then I made few more jokes here and there and she was having some good fun. Now, I was trying David DeAngelo's Cocky Funny thing and was teasing her a lot along with making jokes. I also told her that she's gotta buy me drink first before hitting on me like that and she laughed at it.

But, the problem with being Cocky and Funny (and I kinda knew it) is that you gotta maintain a delicate balance between being arrogant and being funny at the same time. If you go too much in one particular direction then you tend to blow it.

Now, I don't know if she was over-reacting or if I was not doing it right, but I think she got offended and told me that I was being rude, mean, jerk and asshole (not all of them at the same time lol) but I was kinda expecting this. So, all this time I was making jokes with her and playfully teasing her etc.
But when she told about me being rude and mean, I just said "OK" (didn't apologize) and just stopped talking to her and started looking at other stuff (I was actually looking for sets I could open). As soon as I did that, after some time she would come back to me, do some Kino and say that I was funny but I should not be mean and rude and girls won't like that I should be a "Nice Guy" (read AFC) and she liked me and blah blah blah
This sort of thing (me not talking to her and she coming back to me) happened 8-10 times although I guess my friend was telling something to her which made her talk to me couple of times.

This thing happened couple of times and she wanted me to apologize to her (which I won't do because that would be DLV and I would be falling back to AFC behavior pattern). At one point I even told her that she is mad at me because she is not used to guys talking to her like that and that I was the first one to do that to which she said I should be nice and all. Then when she insisted too much (I didn't wanna offend her too much coz she was with my friend) for a Sorry, I told in her ear, wass the magic word and then she said "Please" and then I said in her ears "then I'm sorry" and we are "Pinky Friends" again.I did this Pinky Friends thing couple of times at which she laughed a lot and I got this part from 1st Episode of Season-1 of VH-1 Pickup Artist watching J-Dog and Mystery in the field. They were smooth man.
Anyway, back to the report

Now, all this time I was just practicing my game coz I didn't wanna hit on my friend's chick but I think that I did keep her interest and attraction in me alive all the time. I could have even made out with her and may be F-Close her later but I didn't want to do this on a chick which my friend picked up. I wanted to earn it for myself by opening my own set and proceeding with the Game coz as of now, opening is the most difficult part for me.

Also, after she told me her name, I was pretending that I'm forgetting it or confusing it with her other friend's name, she told me that I should not forget her name at which, I flipped out my cell and told her to feed in her name and number in it and call me everyday so that I won't forget her and she put her no. in my cell (although it has only 9 digits in place of 10 and not sure if she did that deliberately or by mistake but I was not interested in her no. or in her anyway)

On the whole I believe this was a good learning experience, I had some great fun with my friends, made jokes all along and had a good time.
Note that the AA was still there but I could feel that I can approach, I had the openers on the tip of my tongue although I didn't do much approach also because I was with my other friends but thats OK.
I'll try to do better next time. I believe my game has improved a bit, not much though but something is better than nothing.
I mean going out in the field and playing the Game was lot better than just sitting in my apartment on a weekend.

This is all I can remember at 4:00 in the morning after coming back from the bar.
I'm not drunk though
If I can recall more stuff, I'll post it as reply to this thread.
