Fast forward to Saturday, we were supposed to meet up at a festival but her "cool" friends trashed talked me to her and lowered my value immensely, she therefore flaked. Furthermore, in school it is obvious that any attraction I created has cooled off to nearly non-existant and things are pretty awkward.
First off - love the username, fella... It's ironic given your question, as well
So - you're a nerd. You're not part of the 'in-crowd'... Big deal. I was that way through much of high school. As soon as college came around things really picked up.
This girl was into you before she knew who you were... then someone filled her in. "That guy is a loser" or whatever... I'm sure that's not true - but that sure sounds like the reputation you may have.
The sad news is that I really don't know that there's a solution for this particular girl. Her opinion has been swayed, and she's now got a social reason NOT to date you (her other friends would know about it)...
Onward and upward - your best bet, if you ask me... Since you've got an apparently bad/nerd reputation at your school... Is to find a girl who doesn't go to your school. A hot one preferably.
