Vin Dicarlo's types aren't 100% accurate but i like the idea of a system to determine which techniques will work on women.
Realist - Idealist: Dead on. One of my favorite ways of figuring this one out is i ask a girl if she considers herself a "good girl" or "bad girl". You can always tell a realist because she will pick neither, a realist defines herself by a much mort complicated set of traits and beliefs. "Good girls" are idealists who believe in the whole disney princess ideals, "bad girls" are idealists who believe in rebellious ideals. "a little of both" is my favorite, these girls are well rounded idealists who usually have a bit of realist in them as well. They are usually more flirtacious and a lot of fun in bed, they tease and like to be teased! Other types include the "girl next door", a good girl who only turns very very bad in bed

and the bad bad rebel who secretly craves obedience! So as far as idealists go, theres a whole other range you can narrow it down to to improve your effectiveness.
Deny - Justify: Not so much. There are lots of women who do both! These traits are, in my opinion, unrelated! Although women in denial respond well to passiveness, innuendo, and sarcasm while women who justify crave safety--they need you to tell them that its ok to feel how they feel, and make it ok for them to express their sexuality.
Test - Invest: Also unrelated! I feel that Vin is oversimplifying it by putting them on opposite ends of the spectrum when women are like a bunch of different mixtures, all poured into one glass in different amounts. In fact, the same women who test you initially might invest all their time and energy into you once they believe you are good enough! A big indicator of whether she's a tester; does she read people magazine / cosmo girl / etc? These manipulative techniques are learned, not inherent.
