Yesterday I was chatting with a HB i used to go to highschool with
We hit it off quite well and i k-closed by the end of the night

however, what really struck me
was the fact that she asked me if I've read "The Game" by Neil Straus
(she mentioned i acted similarly to the what's mentioned in the book)
I obviously brushed it off and pretented that I had never heard of the book etc etc

Have you guys ever been called out on your game? or have any similar stories or reactions ?

Yes I have been ..infact moments ago ..coming from field ...I said 'totally' ..and then took out my phone and said here are the steps ...

1) open her
2) something
3) make her laugh
4) something and so on..

She started laughing .Although she said I had no chance still she showed interest and started talking.Infact she remembered my name (to say good bye) when her friend stole her from me

I sort of doubt this ever happened, this has never happened to me and i've probably approached probably 1000 women so far. I have even used the "who lies more men or women" line and it never happened.

Missed opportunity to probe further and gain rapport off of a shared reading experience.
I was called out not too long ago by a girl who mentioned how I was checking out her girlfriend's ass. So I said, "Oh, I'm sorry you feel left out. I'll make more of an effort to check out your ass too. Here, turn around." Worked like a charm.

I worked with a girl that asked me if I was a playboy. Of course I admitted it to her and started getting heavy attraction from then on.

I had a female friend who always told girls I was such a pimp and it was like a walking billboard for me.

Those are just a few examples.

Basically the way you want to handle a situation like this is to maintain your frame and come at it like it is no big deal.

Here's a three step process:

Agree > Observe > Redirect

So, she asks if you have read The Game.

Agree: "Yeah, I've read that book. It was pretty good."

Observe: "The pick up artist stuff seemed cool, but what I really loved was how it became this cautionary tale of what can happen if you don't approach this with deeper feelings--like we share."

Redirect: "It's cool that you've read that book too. Most girls are too uptight to read something like that. You know, I think he also co-wrote How to Make Love Like a Porn Star. Did you read that one?"

ALL THE TIME... always saying you are such a player, or Player STATUS, or some variation of "are you running game" or "your game is good" to which I reply yup! I train 13 hrs a day, I even have a personal trainer, its hard to keep this body in shape what can I say.

Call her out on it in the future if she makes a comment like that. Say... "dont tell me your trying to improve your game on getting more quality men in your bed, I am not that type of guy." this is a joke so u should prob laugh

I got the "Have you read the game" line a few weeks back while sarging. I played dumb to the book but used it to probe further and find out if the techniques in question work with her. I gained rapport and eventually started talking to her friend, the girl who called me walked away to the bar. With the assured isolation I had you would think some sort of close would be on the cards. Unfortunately a very drunk friend I know crashed in, and the girl left once he spilt his drink over me and her. But thats a story for another time. I think that routine for disarming the "youve read the game" is brilliant YouWish99 ill be giving that a shot should the situation arise again
