So I'm at a loud club and a hb8 comes to me and my friend at the bar and tells us not to stand there boring and dance. I wasn't sure how to respond but went with:
"You're not dancing either, let's go dance right now!!"
she looks at me and says : " so you think u can outdance me?"
me: " Sure I can".
She: " so what do i get if i beat you?"
I just looked and smiled at her and we went to the dance floor..

What do you guys think about how it went, and what should I have said after the last question?

btw, she was some professional hip hop dancer, so I couldn't really impress her
she told me "she wins" a few times and I told her she shouldn't be so insecure and just have fun...

Hey man as long as you got the in, does it really matter what you said? You probably could have said anything at that time and still got the dance. Hopefully you got her number after!

i probably would have whispered in her ear "spanked five times" then smiled at her.

If I end up on a dancefloor I always default to silly dance moves (the lawnmower, the sprinkler, dealing the cards, the swim etc) especially if it's gonna be a "dance competition" like she was doing. With responding to her last question I think just smiling was fine, you coulda maybe said something like "I'm not telling, you'll have to impress me first"

I agree. If it's some kind of "competition" you have to be a great dancer(especially after being kinda cocky about it) or you do some funny stuff just like said. You will have her attention either way...
