This film's going to fly under the majority's radar. Watch the trailer from the perspective of a commoner... and it's really not all that "intriguing."

looks to me like a more sophisticated remake of Hitch.. but f**k! everyone will want to learn PU now!

oh Im not that sure.. every one in this forum (actually EVERYBODY) heard about PU and adopted it as a way of living.. how can you tell they won't go that way?

How many of us heard about it from a gimmicky movie though? This movie will have no impact on us to be honest, there is no reason to fret. How many people have been affected by Dr. Phil's coverage of it, or by the Channel 4 documentary in the UK? The movie will fly under the radar and will be forgotten pretty quickly by the general public. Hell I would put money on it going straight to DVD.

Exactly. Guru's have been on talkshows around the world, there has actually been 2 documentaries on Channel 4, more books and DVD courses than I can name, VH1's the pickup artist, keys to the vip, websites such as this one and a certain website named Youtube that is packed full of pua videos. And people are saying they are worried about the community being "exposed" :lol: :lol:
This will have little to no effect on the community at all in my opinion, and if it does have any effect it will only be for the greater good.

never underestimate the impact a movie can have. I don't care how many interviews and courses there have been, they are tiny little bits people sooner or later forget. Even the books, such as the mystery method or the game, although world wide sold as they are, do not have as much influence as a high budget, fully advertised film around the globe.

as for what you were saying Stygian, I found out about PU from videos on metacafe featuring a pua, 'Rob Gray' briefly explaining what all this is about. Fancy that...

Can someone please tell me when the hell this movie is going to come out?

I thought like v-day or something that is already past and the "official website" still isn't online . . .

I guess I'm just one of those few people who actually want to give out a few bucks for it, just to say that I've seen it.

Haha, hooray for small countries. I'm really sure that movie won't get released in my country, and the game will still be a mystery in my land :)

Oh, and I don't think this movie will hook that many people to the game. Because it's a movie, and therefore it's FICTION! The effect "The Game" (The book) has on you is much more elaborate.

Aaand it isn't gonna be a big box office hit I think :)
