Social and flirty means act as if it's in the daytime or it's 1 in the morning. Just be yourself, enjoy, have fun. If it's social cirlce direct will not get you far, obviously be flirty, but no need to be overtly direct in social circle, you have a chance of messing up the social circle. That's not to say you can't get laid in the social circle, it's where you meet a lot of quality women. But when you're in social circle it's all about value, you've already established value hence you're all hanging out, just have fun.

If you're in a pub with a social circle, be the guy who initiates moving venues or going to "that pub with foosball," however a school night club seems more geared toward cold approach. Don't be afraid to go direct in a school club if your school is massive. If in the club everyone knows everyone, then treat it as social circle.
