Here's how i learned game and got better at getting girls:
I saw material online, i got an idea of what the best PUAS do.
I went out and i did it myself, failed a lot because i misunderstood everything these guys were doing and i thought i was them. LOL. Which made me very uncalibrated.
Through alot of failing i started becoming myself and realizing i have my own path, i kept their advice in mind though and it all made sense in the end.
How i got better at keeping conversations going was by #1 talking to girls ALOT, not just girls but PEOPLE, BEING SOCIAL IN GENERAL helps, girls are PEOPLE. You're question isnt how do i keep a conversation going, thats a fucking thing you should have learned in the 3rd grade. Why must it be any diffrent when it comes to a girl? the diffrence is you're not trying to fuck your friends, your trying to fuck her. So the way you keep the conversation going is the way you would with anyone except you add a bit of flirting here and there that way she knows your interested in her as a woman.
I'll go even more in depth because im feeling nice today

1. Talk, exchange names, how are you, im good
2. Ask questions, make statements, show curiousity
3. Find out about her, tell her about you, see what you guys have in common and keep it in mind for future dates.
4. Talk talk talk , flirt, dont be boring.
ANyways, i can tell you all this but you will never be good at conversating unless your life is GOOD
the reason most guys cant hold a conversation is because they are fucking losers with boring ass lifes and expect to have a conversation with a hot girl.... not in this fucking world lol
Get your life together, hit the gym, have fun hobbies, have friends, have shit going for yourself
Then you can bring girls into it and conversate forever coming from a positive place.
Most guys think talking to a girl is asking them questions and expect them to do the work.
Look at the guys who get all the girls
THEY ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES WITH EXCITING LIVES and they dont run out of shit to say cus they dont give a FUCK
