you go to a girl and say "you look like [small pause] Steven Spielberg"
why is it a pick up line? because it's interesting and sounds like a joke
why is it a neg? because she will be thinking "Spielberg is ugly as fuck, am I really that ugly?" but it's not offensive because Spielberg is so damn successful and famous that it's actually a compliment.
