So! Ive done my reading, read The Game, trawled through the posts on here, and been out a few times in the past few months and found out that this stuff really works!! Its awesome! Now I need a challenge to see that I am really making progress!

I saw Rules of the Game in the shop the other day and didnt hesitate the buy it. I loved the game and that book introduced me to all this, from there I looked at Mystery Method, Annihilation method (Style), Ross Jeffries, Steve Piccus, NLP guys and many others and started going!

The rules of the game sets you a challenge, get a date in 30 days! So tomorrow im going to start it, reading cover to cover and completing everything that is asked! Lets see what happens!

I want to make a journal and stick an entry in every day as I think it will keep me on track and be an awesome way of reviewing the day, seeing what I did right or wrong and generally contemplating whats going on!
Hope you guys will support me on this and help if I need it as well as keeping up to date with how I do!

Day one starts later today as its twenty to 2 in the morning here!
Later guys!
Class

Ok day one done!!

Challenge - Go small talk with 5 complete random strangers! Mission accomplished! I sat in the middle of town and just smiled at people, said hello and remarked how nice the weather was! Easy peasy! Did this to a few girls and a few guys as he said doesnt matter which at this stage, its just getting u used to talking to people!

Got no rude replies of F*** offs, just hello back and that yeah it was lovely weather!

Day two tomorrow...

This is such an important lesson to learn, which I found reduces a lot of approach anxiety. As Style says, people are raised to be nice. The worst you'll get is an awkward conversation and the person will politely excuse them selves. Take this as motivation to realise that Worst case you get 5 minutes of awkwardness, but you still learn something or get something(Number, kiss, positive conversation) and still learn something.

It's a Win vs. Win.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread :)

Completely agree! Its easy to hear it and think yea that makes sense, but its actually true as well. Everyone I spoke to was polite and chatty! It was a great realisation and I hope has helped me get over my AA! We will have to see in the next few days!

Cheers for the reply dude!

So day two of the challenge!

The weather is shitty as its England but nevertheless out into town I go to do Mission number 2 on the style challenge! Today's challenge is pretty similar to yesterdays, go chat to 5 complete strangers, only this time eye contact has to be made and their eye color has to be jotted down after the interaction.

Again, it was good! Remarks on the weather were again, high on the table and I managed to get good conversations with everyone, including a really decent looking girl who I ended up laughing and joking with (Blue eyes by the way ;) )

These challenges are I guess all about getting over the AA and getting used to just going up to people and starting talking. I work in a bar so dont mind just randomly chatting to someone there as its part of my job and I dont think twice about asking a complete stranger how their day is going, its a bit different when you arent in that role however!

Stay tuned for day 3 tomorrow :)
Cheers!

Day 3 sorry for the delay!

Today I had to not shower and not shave and realise that most people dont give a s*** as theyre too worried about their own appearance.

In addition to this I had to do a fun little challenge. I had to stay at home, randomly dial 3 local phone numbers and get them to give me a good movie recommendation. Here's the speech...

"Hey is Sarah there?"
"No I think you have the wrong number"
"Oh, im sorry, while I have you on the phone can you recommend me a good movie to watch"?
"Haha, sure I saw ... the other day and it was pretty good"
"Thats awesome thank you! Sorry for disturbing you!"

That conversation went pretty much the same through 5 calls I made, only one person was a bit rude and basically went no I havent seen any good movies, goodbye.

Again, all about building up the confidence, using your voice in an assured manner and realising that simply talking to someone new isnt the end of the world!

Fun challenge! Difficult for the first one to pick up the phone, but once I got one good response, the confidence went up!
