I use to have a crush on my co-worker, a hb9 with a boyfriend, Highschool sweethearts. She is interested in me, but the first real love is a strong one, so she is still with her boyfriend. I've never told how I feel about her, but I give IOI's back and we get along really well. Sometimes I can feel the tension but I never escalated whatsoever. Since a couple of weeks, I'm safe to say my oneitis is over I've been on dates with several girls and she is no longer my no.1 target.

I asked the hb9 to set me up for a blind date. I told her I've never done such a thing and I was curious about it. I knew for a fact she has a lot of hot girlfriends Within 2 hours she started sending me pics of her friend, a hb7 and she send hb7 some pics of me, a HD10 :p. she told me HB7 was single and she would ask if I could have her number. This was on a friday and that night they were planning to hang out together. Late sunday afternoon, I got a message from the HB9 that she could give me hb7's number because she saw my pics and agreed upon giving the number . She told me I could have her number sometime next week. Its tuesday over here and still no number. I dont have any problems with the whole modus operandi, but I fail to understand it. Why does it take so long to get her number. Is this a shittest of some sort of is HB9 trying to cockblock me? Is she in doubt ?

HB9 is a really nice girl and I would like have her as an option for the distant future. Am I doing this wrong by dating her friend? HB7 looks really nice but I'm not really looking for that type of girl.

Would dating her friend ruin my chances with hb9? Is she shittesting me, cockblocking or in doubt ?

My opinion: Give her a bit - if she offered to set you up in the first place she's probably not trying to cockblock you. If the friend is having second thoughts - then oh well... nothing's really lost there.

On the topic of ruining your chances, I've sort of had something like this: Dated a friend of a friend, and then dated another one who was friends with the first. Didn't ruin me - but was awkward as fuck. I think it depends how carefully you approach it.

Ha I'm eager but patient as well. I dont understand why it have to take so long? Is this their timebridge or something? I just try to wrap my head around it lol.

I was also wondering if the hb9 would get second thoughts to give the number. Maybe she realises her feelings about me? I dont really mind if hb7 is changing her mind tho.
