We get a little bit of success and we think, “Wow I’m good.”

Then we stop doing what we’ve been doing…

And we stop getting what we’ve been getting.

No worries, it’s human nature, start again. But how about this…

How about never stopping in the first place. You wanna compete? Do you? Because if you want an LA or Chicago 9 (there are no 10s) you’re gonna have to beat out a handful of guys that never stop. You think George Clooney ever stops? How about Don Draper? Maybe Hank Moody takes a break…?

Fuck no.

It’s always like, “aahh I stopped meditating…” or “aahh I stopped approaching…” or “aahh I stopped working out…”

And your friends will tell you, “Ahh that’s okay man, take a break, you’ve been working hard, it’s okay, man…”

How about No!

It’s not okay. Because before you know it, your breaks become your life…

One long fucking break.

No stopping.

Ha! Fucking seconded

I was on a pretty strict diet recently and after two weeks I felt amazing, but then I stopped to think "this is probably the most disciplined I've been in my life so far".

That thought alone was enough to make me think, "phew! I've done enough for now"

What is it in our brains that resists relentless self-improvement?

Cause honestly, your brain doesn't give a flying fuck about your dreams. It just cares that you are alive. You've gotta tell that mother fucker that you aren't going to hold back and be "content."

This reminds me of a Jim Gaffigan joke: He hates fit people in the gym... GO home, youre done already.

I think the mindset youre stating is right on. The point of PUA is not to trick women into fucking you. Its to improve who you are so that women cant help but fuck you. I cant help but be who am I... and who I am is better at women than he was a year ago....five years ago. Never stop improving and learning...

haha Epic post bro so true!! I need a contract with myself. I write what I need to do in this crap 3in notebook everyday and scratch it off when I'm done. I used to get so caught up in my day and be like eh screw it I'm laying down or I'm tired or its to late... I get pissed when I don't do what i said i was going to do especially if I wrote it down. Since I've been writing my goals and daily check off I get it done 95% of the time. I've been doing this for years now. Sounds stupid, but to each is own i guess, it works for me.
