Hey gents, I just thought I would share a personal experience that I found very damaging to my progress. This goes out especially to all the AFCs and beginners.

I joined this forum in November last year and was extremely excited to get this part of my life sorted. I had the books, DVDs and audios. You name it I had it.

I started devouring book after book and seminar after seminar. I then reached a point in my development where I wouldn't attempt anything practical, because I had all of this information bouncing around in my head. It was terrible! One book would conflict with another and this principle would conflict with some other principle, until I didn't approach or do anything of value with the theory I learned.

So just be careful with how much you take in...

I've now started from scratch about a month ago, and am limiting myself to what I need in the moment.

Exactly!

The best way to learn is step by step. There is no sense in learning about how to get a girl to take her bra off if you haven't mastered the approach.

Well said.
