Hey all,

I have some decent buddies/wings, but most are noobs. And every time I go and post in the 'lairs' or 'wings' section, the only people that ever contact me are people who haven't done a set yet.

Are there actually Good, proven Puas and/or MPuas out there? Do any of them live near me in Charlotte?

I have only been doing this for a little over a month, but my gains have been through the roof because I have been living and breathing it, set after set, escalate after escalate. I am poor, I can't do a boot camp. Where are all the good PUAs? Do they just not exist, how do I find them?

Please Help, how do I get more involved in this community? Do I just go on a roadtrip like Neil Strauss?

I used to have the same problem. If I applied for new wings, it sometimes were guys who were better off at psychiatrist then with me in a bar.

BUt you have got to keep searching and networking. ALso try other forums. And don't accept people that only want to profit from your level, and don't have to have anything to offer in return.

It took me 4 years and only have one good wing that lives near me. Lately I found another one and the three of us are now starting our own PU intitative, so we have some structure to work with and teach each other thing. And the best thing is: we are alomst of the same age, the same PU experience level, etc. In the field this definitely repays itself.

Also I contacted some people within the Venusian Arts scene and we organized a national meeting that 20 PUA's attended. It was a lot of fun and I met some guys I could definitely learn from.

So just keep networking and don't give up. Good wings are essential in my opinion.

I live in a big city, but I've pulled a lot of pua's from this site and winged with them. Some are better than others obviously. You just pick and choose who you want to associate with like anything else. Ultimately, it's not about how good their game is, it's about how good your's is.

Yea man. I appreciate the good advice. I'm going to keep combing all the forums that I can, and keep searching.

It's like, 1 wing that exactly matches your goals and relative style/humor in the field is worth so much. It's hard, I like the dudes I wing w/ alright, but they aren't like my best friends. The only thing we really talk about is pick up...

So, in field when they walk up (I just realized this the other day), we are focused on the girls more so than each other. Where as, if it were my good buddy, I'd be equally focused on him and the girls. I think girls can subconsciously pick up on this, and it actually DLVs both of us.

Anyway, I'm glad you found some solid wings man. I'ma keep at it. I'm in this to change my life, not for some short term tricks to 'get lucky'. Which is what I feel like too many of these guys are after.

I gotta remember to be a good wing and throw in 'social proof' or 'DHV' spikes for them (I'm not sure the technical term I'm looking for here....when you talk up your wing man. But, it's obviously easier to do for some versus others.
