Hey guys, I just received letters from the university about the frosh week and the different frosh weeks that I can register to. My question may be simple (or not?) but my mother tongue is not english so I don't quite understand what it represents.

What exactly is a "frosh week" in montreal, Canada?

I remember hearing this word and I think it is partys around the campus or something like that but I ain't sure.

Second of all, what can I expect from a PUA point of view?

Is it a good place to meet girls and get k-close or f-close or is it just some stupid games between students with water guns and stuff like that?

"Frosh" is a slang term for Freshman. I would assume it's similar to an orientation week to get freshmen acquainted with the school but I recommend double checking with someone more familiar with university in that area. If it is what I think it is though, yes, it's excellent for meeting girls. The people in charge of running the programs basically force you into it.

yes, its one big ice breaker for everyone. I say focus small... pick the right social circle. Find guys that seems like winners and have the same focus as you. You'll have the next 4 (or 6) years in a target rich environment. No need to come out guns blazing but then again if you see an opening...

Frosh week depends on your faculty, but always turns into a week long party. Think booze cruises, pub crawls, camping trips, all with shit loads of alcohol included. I did it my first year and would definitely recommend it. I'm actually going to be a frosh leader this semester.

Great that's what I thought! But if I want to attend the frosh activities, I'll have to cancel my trip to old orchard beach... tough choice. I'm not worried about getting a bad reputation from this because I'm really good at getting friends and socializing so there 's not much to worry about. Anyway it's a big city+big school so I'm pretty sure that people don't konw each other.

Futhermore, I'll be studying in the management faculty so there should be a lot of girls right? I'm really looking foward to it.

Cancel your trip, go to frosh week, make friends, get numbers, keep in touch until school starts. The people you meet at these things are invaluable resources throughout your college career. Since most people there don't know anyone else, they're much more open to meeting new people and tend to latch onto the first few people that they talk to that aren't complete weirdos. The more people you meet and keep in touch with at this thing, the more parties you'll find out about, the more your social circle will expand, and the more attractive girls you'll have opportunities to meet. Trust me, I work at a campus and interact with the people who run these things.
