I'm just going to be honest. I've been on the forum for years just being a keyboard jockey. I've made a few half assed attempts at trying picking, but nothing has worked. Right now I'm a 23 year old virgin who just joined a fraternity, and I've had little to any luck with women at a university known for partying. I need help, the status quo is no longer acceptable.

#1. The confident man does not need to pursue fulfillment just because he is a 23 year old virgin. It's not the 'virgin' label that should make you think oh man...etc. Not sure what 'status quo' you are talking about, but I guess this is it.

#2. If you are doing this just to get laid...well that's your prerogative.

#3. Just keep doing it. Half-assed attempts get you nowhere. Seeing as how you are leading an active lifestyle in polo, med studies, etc...you should know this better than most right?

#4. It takes time and energy, so before considering this...realize you can't possibly be good at PUA while maintaining all your extra activities. A lot of people quit their JOBS to be good at this lol.

#5. If you do pursue it, make at least 10 approaches a day and make time for this shit. It doesn't just 'happen' in minutes.

#6. Worst comes to worst, sleep with a hooker if need be if losing your virginity to someone is that much of an importance.

Do by all means NOT quit other activities for the matter of improving your skills with women. Don't do it.

Let's give the poor guy a break, that's just his opinion. Learning how to pick up girls is challenging and time-consuming. It's entirely an individual person's decision whether he wants to quit other activities to pursue pick up. I believe, however, that this is not the best thing to do, as sacrificing one's personal hobbies/passions for what may turn out to be a passing fancy is wrong. It's far better to make time for it in small ways by opening 10 people a day, etc. If you really like it, then increase the frequency and intensity of practice.
