I do not know whether it is opening or peacocking, but it is almost guaranteed to work. All you do is wear a t-shirt with a metal band on. Because open metal fans are very rare, when a girl metal fan will see it and suddenly compliment you on a your shirt, or say, "I love them" Both sexes will approach you but I am always sure it will help. Even if it will not make the girl approach you, when you are talking, quite often a friend of your target, or even your target will comment on your shirt, whether its saying, "I love them." or "My ex loved them" it will always help.

Iron Maiden is a good band to wear? I have two shirts of Maiden; the Fear of the Dark single cover on one shirt and the other is a powerslave shirt.

I'll have to try this next time i go out...

Every time I have worn my Maiden shirt a girl has approached me.

bullet for my valentine and metallica are my favorite metal bands, its a shame i don't have any of their shirts. I'll keep this in mind.

hahahaha..... I usually wear a t-shirt with my face on it. I grabbed the special iron paper that print a picture from facebook and iron it on. Clearly the picture is of me and I get compliments on it all the time. Sometimes girls give me a weird look which is an automatic easy opener for me to slide right in...... Now with that being said when I got out this weekend I better not see 432 dudes wear white t-shirts with there picture on them!

this might work in some countries but where i live people (MOST OF ALL!) metal people (like me) are very open about their music of choice. and weir their shirt's almost always... as do the chicks...

nirvana and linkin park are not metal bands.
if u wear a metallica shirt probably guys will come to u and debate u and say they suck now and blah blah blah.
but iron maiden is a classic
