mistaken identity opening lines. I wonder if they are effective.
something like "weren't you in my class las semester?"
"are you a music teacher? at __ university? ya, remember me? we talked about santa claus the other day"
also, how do you start a conversation at the library where it is not appropriate to talk?

In a quiet area, i usually make a note.
It's cute and funny.
Something like "Hello, what's your name?" to start if off.
And if you smile at her and maintain eye contact she will blush, and write you back.
I think it's playful and pretty smooth :D
