Usually it starts from first impression. For example: I have been on a army boot camp and didn't know what the counselor (driller) will be like. Once I saw him the first time he was so strict and firm everyone knew this was not the guy to mess with. Because he let us know from the start that he's not the guy to play around with we all made sure to do as he said. In reality this driller might have been some geeky guy who is very nice and a muffin boy but the way he projected his personality was our only information about him and therefore our perception of him. In short project your strong personality that your not the guy to mess with and she will take that and obey it. Note: This doesn't mean to be angry, scream or be mean to her.
